The European electric mobility sector calls to stay the course for 2035
A new study by Charge France, based on analysis by Boston Consulting Group, confirms the direction towards 100% electric vehicles, highlighting significant advantages for households, which can save up to €1,600 per year compared to plug-in hybrids
• Charge France – which brings together 18 major operators of electric charging infrastructure (including Atlante, Allego, DRIVECO, Electra, ENGIE Vianeo, Fastned, Ionity, Izivia and Powerdot), along with Alpitronic and Transport & Environment, key players in electric mobility across Europe, presents policymakers with 4 recommendations to achieve 100% electric vehicles by 2035 and meet European climate targets.
• This ambition is backed by a new study from Boston Consulting Group, which shows that fully electric vehicles are the most economical, ecological and competitive solution for citizens and for Europe, while plug-in hybrids and range-extended vehicles are increasingly seen as transitional technologies.
